In 17 editions, Hellfest has become THE festival dedicated to extreme music in France and recognized internationally.
With 240,000 festival-goers over 4 days, the festival has been held since its first edition in 2006, in the city of Clisson in Loire-Atlantique.
Metal legends, hidden gems of the underground scene, and established favorites are just some of the 180 bands and artists featured every year on the festival's 6 stages, set against a backdrop that transports festival-goers into a timeless experience.

Led by the HELLFEST PRODUCTIONS association, Hellfest has been a self-reliant and self-funded human endeavor since its inception. It's powered by a year-round team of 30 employees, along with thousands of technicians and over 5000 volunteers.
Proud of its heritage and committed to preserving the environment, Hellfest and its team are dedicated to reducing the festival's environmental impact through various initiatives: waste management (71% recycling rate in 2023), carpooling and public transportation options for attendees, energy conservation efforts, and more.
