By car :

On the motorway or on local roads, we strongly advise you to log onto mappy.fr It is also wise to arrive on Thusrday 16 June to avoid traffic jams. Once in Clisson, look out for the signs to the festival carparks.

Car-sharing :

Log onto www.hellfest.fr/forum to contact other festival goers to save money and reduce pollution!

By bus :

Many companies are offering a transport, campsite, ticket package see page "Bus + Tickets"

By train:

The SNCF will advise you on your journey. Once in Nantes, trains for Clisson run regularly.

Nantes to Clisson. 1st train: 6h20 (lot of trains between these hours) last train: 22h30 (€5 for a trip)

Clisson to Nantes. 1st train: 5h39 (lot of trains between these hours) last train: 19h21 (5€ for a trip)

AIRPORTS:

Nantes Aiport, www.nantes.aeroport.fr, is the biggest in the region catering for flights from France and abroad (London Barcelona etc.). CityJet offers cheap flights from London www.cityjet.com.

Hellfest Shuttles:

Minibuses will take those interested from the station in Clisson to the festival entrance or the camp site (or any other destination in Clisson) for only 2 Euros per journey. This service runs from the afternoon of Thursday the 14th of June to Monday afternoon on the 19th of June.

To go to Nantes, some shuttle buses will require a minimum of 5 people for a journey. The cost will be 10 Euros per person to travel during the day, and 15 Euros to travel at night.

The same local taxi firm from Clisson will take you from the airport in Nantes to Clisson for 10 Euros per person during the day and 15 Euros during the night with a minimum of 5 people per journey. This service is also available of the last day of the festival and the day after.

IMPORTANT: It is AN OBLIGATION FOR THE TRIPS FROM THE AIRPORT or the TRAIN STATION to book shuttles of the TAXI DOUILLARD COMPANY in advance AND TO PRESENT A WRITTEN RESERVATION WHICH WILL BE GIVEN BY THE COMPANY WHEN YOU'LL BOOK THE TRIP. The taxi company Douillard will not be allowed to take you.

Campsite is free and right next to the festival!
The campsite doors open Thursday 14 June at 2pm upon presentation of your ticket. You will then be given your bracelet for the festival so all you'll have to do is set up your tent! ATTENTION !!! This campsite is only for those holding a 1 or 3 day pass. When you arrive volunteers will give you a "camping bag" with goodies but its main use is as a bin bag and a you'll be given a token for every bin bag handed in. We rely on you to keep the site clean. A toilet block will also be available.

We have tried to do our best to improve on the very few facilities provided last year.

People under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult !

There is a ½ price for the under 17 years old who are accompanied by a member of their family who will have to attend the shows.

Hellfest is free for kids under 12 years old!!
