Paris-based L'ESPRIT DU CLAN was brought to life in 1995 and has toured their home country as well as the rest of Europe and Canada several times. The music is just a harsh, mean and lean metalcore that thrives on compactness, highly captivating with chunky riffs, thorough beating drums and complicated melodies. It’s also vicious and blatant remorseless. The gang's latest record “Ch. V: Drama” (2011) is a ruthless firebrand, by far the most coherent and the darkest of L’ESPRIT DU CLAN: shocking, political, emotional and committed, denouncing, questioning, playing in order not to die.
